Veld & Flora Journal
Veld & Flora is the journal of the Botanical Society of South Africa, South Africa’s oldest environmental NGO. It is distributed free to its 20 000 member strong database. Members are passionate about nature conservation and the environment. They are interested in products and services relating to this, as well as in health, wellness, leisure, gardening, travel and education.
Established in 1913, the Botanical Society is a well-recognised and trusted brand that contributes considerably to the debate around biodiversity, climate change and conservation in South Africa and internationally. Organisations who advertise with Veld & Flora will gain positive association with the brand – and help convey the message that they are committed to greening their business.
The quarterly publication, which is also distributed free to select Cape Town schools, covers a wide variety of topics related to the environment and sustainability with a focus on the flora and wildlife of Southern Africa.
A glossy and colourful magazine, Veld & Flora also includes interesting historical pieces from the 16 branches of the Society around the country, the National Botanical Gardens of South Africa and well known scientists working in this field. Other regular items include Conservation News and Events, Book Reviews, Letters to the Editor and Classified Advertisements.
