Quest: Science for South Africa, published by the Academy of Science South Africa (ASSAf) is a quarterly print magazine, and also available in a flip page electronic version via the Questonline website. This popular, full colour, science magazine targets learners, educators and the general public who have a strong interest in Science and Mathematics (STEM). The magazine is totally dedicated to presenting South Africa's scientific achievements and ongoing research.

Quest: Science for South Africa is well on its way to being the most widely read popular science magazine in the country. It provides an advertising platform difficult to match.

  • Supported by the Department of Science and Innovation (DSI) and endorsed by the Department of Basic Education (DBE)

  • Quest is a full-colour, quarterly magazine

  • 7 000 copies are printed and posted to government and private schools in 9 provinces, public libraries nationally, university  . libraries, subscribers, embassies, consulates, high commissions, government departments and science centres in the SA ASTEC network, TVETs and resource centres
