Tuberculosis and occupational lung disease AUDA-NEPAD Special Report


The Occupational Health Southern Africa Journal is honoured to be the publisher of a Special Issue reporting on the implementation of AUDA-NEPAD's Southern Africa Tuberculosis and Health Systems Support (SATBHSS) project.

This project, launched in 2016, focused on four Southern African countries (Malawi, Zambia, Mozambique and Lesotho), aims to strengthen the health sector's response to tuberculosis (TB) and occupational lung diseases (OLDs)


The Special Issue will include:

• Report backs on progress made since implementing the the project

• Research papers on TB and OLDs

• A strong focus on the burden faced by communities who include both current and ex-miners suffering with TB and OLDs

OHSA Journal readers and subscribers, AUDA-NEPAD stakeholders in Southern Africa and a link to view the Special Issue will be available on AUDA-NEPAD and OSHAfrica's websites.
